Here at Tutor Delphia, our aim is not only to educate our students, but to empower them. We’re not tied to a single philosophy, but are more interested in changing the way our students think about learning, and challenging them to take initiative in their own education. This is a mindset, not a system. We seek not to simply help our students through the next assignment or test, but give them the tools to help themselves, as well as the courage and confidence to tackle future assignments head-on. Whether it is learning to read, understanding math for the first time, or creating a new computer program, we work to make learning rewarding and satisfying. We make it our mission to have our students leave each session having achieved a deep feeling of accomplishment.
Different from the traditional classroom setting, tutoring gives us the freedom to really connect with our students. When we tutor, learning becomes less an assembly line process and more an act of creativity that results in a work of art—your child’s success. Because we care so deeply about this relationship, our tutors are carefully screened and highly qualified to meet your student’s needs. In addition, at 50% of the rates of our major competitors, Tutor Delphia’s mission is to make learning what it should be: affordable.
To take the first step towards a happier, healthier future for your child or yourself, call or email us today. We look forward to teaching and learning with you.
Owner & Founder of Tutor Delphia
Tutor Delphia offers one on one private tutoring. Our expert tutors travel to you.
As a teacher, I so often witnessed students struggling in group settings, only to grow by leaps and bounds when given individualized instruction. It’s amazing to watch -- a student sits in class, frustrated and full of self-doubt, believing they can never grasp the material at hand...and then someone takes a closer look at them, sees what they’re missing, and starts teaching. And that student finally, happily, excels.
