Rather than just sitting inside and studying for the SATs, there are numerous places to visit in Philadelphia that can help prepare you for upcoming SAT tests!
To read and understand something you have to be able to connect it to your experiences. According to the excellent study guide Up Your Score there are five main topics used for the reading passages: Scientific, Historical, Art, Fiction and Minority. I will tell you about two places to visit in each category.

Yikes. Even hearing the phrase “SAT Vocab” makes me frown a little bit.
We often hear students say, “Oh, I’m no good at vocab for the SAT.” “I don’t know any of those words,” they’ll say, shaking their heads and looking down at the floor.
