New Robotics Course Gives Hands On Experience
Want to learn about Robotics? Have an interest in programming language? School may be over but there’s still plenty of fun and learning to be had. There’s also still time to register for Tutor Delphia’s introductory Robotics course designed for 12-18 year-olds. Students will be using the Parallax Robotic Kit and an Arduino microcontroller for interactive challenges like line following and wall evasion. They’ll also be getting an introduction to C++ programming language and electrical engineering.
The six-week course will be taught by Carlos Uribe who is an Electrical Engineer for Lockheed Martin specializing in Digital Signal Processing and Control Theory. He previously ran Maple Glen Elementary School’s Lego Robotics club for four years.
The first class will kick off on Wednesday, July 23rd. Classes runs from 7 pm until 8:30 every Wednesday and will be held in the Cheltenham Shoprite’s community room. Please note that space is limited to six students. Click here for more information about registration and pricing.
